Ad Hoc Business Formations

1. Nutshell View:

 

a.  Director may serve as Ad Hoc Project leader as well as Business Formation
     project leader.

 

b.  Assist a resident in business formation to work one or a short term contract.

 

c.  Use the Chamber's job skills bank to help that business leader secure employees.

 

d.  Help the business leader determine what type of organization is needed,
     how help will be employed (employees, partners, defined partners with ceiling,
     or contract help).

 

e.  Assist leader resident maintain business records.


 

2. Assets Needed:

Salaries – Partial for Chamber Director
                Full for Program Director,
                Assistant(s).

Contract Help:


Help gathering business email addresses.
Website maintenance.
Printing.


Hard Assets:

Electronic equipment;
 

3. Grant Request:


Either full four years or one year with three annual extensions.
Allow for growth and general operating expenses.
