Canning & Harvesting
1. Nutshell View:
a. Provide building and equipment for fresh canning.
b. Charge by the hour for utilities used.
c. Require reservations.
d. Coordinate with local farmers when harvest is ready for U Pick or
harvesters needed for hire.
2. Assets Needed:
Partial for Chamber Director;
Full for Program Director,
Help gathering business email addresses.
3. Grant Request:
Either full four years or one year with three annual extensions.
Allow for growth and general operating expenses.
